At Columbus Ventures, we take pride in performing a quick yet thorough evaluation of each entrepreneur’s plans. We simply ask that you provide the following items so we can evaluate your business idea:
Briefly describe (what you could tell us in about 30 seconds) what your company does, why your product is unique, who your existing/potential customers are, and why someone would buy your product or service. Be prepared to answer any related questions, provide backup information, and, potentially, provide third-party information sources to support your position.
We recognize that your business plan may not be pretty or even complete at this stage. Send us (electronically) your most recent summary, and please include financial projections for years one through four, your current product status including major milestones and completion dates, and your sales and distribution plans, if you have any. You must also provide a current capitalization table. If you cannot provide this table, please list all creditors and/or current investors, amounts and dates invested, share and option holders and the amounts they own, and shares in option pools, if any.
